The purpose of the Up Next Initiative is to develop a network of minority professionals to create equal opportunities for minority students by removing barriers that may hinder one from obtaining certain opportunities in the professional arena.
Founder & President
Whitney A. Jones, PA-C is a 2009 graduate of Augusta State University (Augusta University) where she majored in Biology, Pre Medicine. She then went on to obtain a Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant studies at the Medical College of Georgia (Augusta University) where she graduated in 2012. Since that time, she has specialized in Emergency and Hospital Medicine. She currently serves as a preceptor for physician assistant students.
